Autumn Weaver

Miss Iowa 2014 was born deaf. Receiving a cochlear implant at age 3, Autumn Weaver used her communication skills to make friends and stay busy. But the challenges of a hearing world remain. From college courses to job interviews, Autumn is one of many in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community who continue to feel excluded from society.
