Iowa PBS presents season 2 of Road Trip Iowa

Iowa PBS’s series Road Trip Iowa takes you on an all new adventure across Iowa's scenic byways, showcasing the historic sites, unique attractions and natural beauty along the way when season 2 premieres Wednesday, April 9.
Featuring 10 new episodes, season 2 will visit the businesses, towns and landscapes along the byways of Iowa. Viewers will venture to Yellow River State Forest, the Grant Wood Art Gallery and other destinations around the state.
“Road Trip Iowa is a fun way to learn about the state of Iowa. Each week, we're off to a different location—to learn history, visit a state park, or drop in on a local business,” said Iowa PBS Senior Producer and Director Tyler Brinegar. “When we put these stories together, you really get a feel for the area's culture and a sense of how past generations have influenced the way we live now. We hope viewers feel that, too, and get the itch to go explore for themselves.”
New episodes premiere Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and repeat Saturdays at 9 a.m. The series is also available to stream on iowapbs.org and on the PBS app.
In celebration of season 2, Iowa PBS will host nights across the state this spring. Including trivia nights and community screenings, these special events will bring people together for friendly competition and celebration while showcasing the unique charm and history of Iowa’s scenic byways.
