Employee rights on the next Iowa Press Special: Coronavirus

On the next Iowa Press Special: Coronavirus, a panel of labor experts will participate in a discussion of the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on Iowa workers, as well as issues of workplace safety and employee rights. The panel will also answer viewer questions submitted prior to recording. Those wishing to submit questions should do so by 9 a.m. on Friday, May 1 via email at iowapress@iowapbs.org, on Twitter @IowaPress or on the Iowa PBS Facebook page.
This one-hour special program will be recorded Friday at 1 p.m. It will be broadcast that evening at 7:30 p.m. and will be repeated on Sunday, May 3 at 11:30 a.m. on Iowa PBS. Iowa Press Special: Coronavirus will be premiere streamed on iowapbs.org, YouTube and Facebook Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
The panel will include Jennifer Sherer, director at the University of Iowa Labor Center; Joe Henry, board member for the League of United Latin American Citizens of Iowa Council 307; and Charlie Wishman, president of the Iowa AFL-CIO. Joining moderator David Yepsen at the Iowa Press table will be Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa.
