Iowa PBS to provide live coverage of the 2023 Condition of the State, Inauguration and more
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) will present the Condition of the State address to the 90th Iowa General Assembly on Tuesday, January 10 at 6 p.m. Iowa PBS will provide live coverage of Condition of the State 2023 on statewide Iowa PBS .1, iowapbs.org, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Following the governor’s address, minority leaders Rep. Jennifer Konfrst (D-Windsor Heights) and Sen. Zach Wahls (D-Coralville) will provide a Democratic response. Kay Henderson, host of Iowa PBS’s Iowa Press will anchor the live broadcast, provide analysis of the governor’s priorities and offer a preview of the upcoming session of the Iowa Legislature.
On Friday, January 13 at 9 a.m., Iowa PBS will broadcast the Inauguration of Governor Kim Reynolds live on statewide Iowa PBS .1 and livestream the event on iowapbs.org, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Henderson will also anchor the inauguration coverage, alongside Iowa political reporter David Yepsen and Chris Larimer, political analyst for KWWL in Waterloo.
