Travel with PBS KIDS: Nature Cat
This summer we’re taking a look at where we think PBS KIDS characters would enjoy traveling in our great state. Explore Iowa with Arthur, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, Wild Kratts and Nature Cat. They will be traveling around Iowa featuring different locations and places you and your family can enjoy.
If Nature Cat were to take a road trip across Iowa, where do you think he would go? We think Nature Cat and his friends would enjoy checking out our state’s gorgeous parks system and are showcasing their imaginary journeys in Backbone State Park, Ledges State Park and Maquoketa Caves State Park. These parks are awesome for family camping trips, boating, swimming, hiking and so much more!
With the recent amounts of heavy rainfall and flooding parts of the state have encountered, we would remind families planning on making a trip to any of our state parks to research the park’s current condition beforehand.
Nature Cat centers on house cat Fred, a dreamer of the great outdoors. Once his family leaves for the day, Fred becomes Nature Cat and with the help of his animal friends, he embarks on action-packed adventures that allow him to explore the natural world. Watch Nature Cat today on air or on demand via the PBS KIDS App!
