(Abby Brown, host of FIND Iowa, is standing on a life-sized map of Iowa and its 99 counties in front of the five-domed capitol building in Des Moines, Iowa. She is wearing a jean jacket over a purple hoodie style sweatshirt and black leggings. She has shoulder length blonde hair that frames her face.)

[Abby Brown] Are you ready for one of the biggest adventures we've ever taken together? It's big with 99 stops along the way.

(Four photos appear on top of a map of Iowa. Abby removes a brown cowboy hat as she speaks to the camera. Abby is talking at an outdoor wooly mammoth sculpture. Abby stands with a flashlight outside of a narrow cave entrance. The capitol building, Des Moines, Iowa.)

Every county in Iowa has a story to tell and a place to visit that illustrates that story. Sometimes it's about history, like a lost city in Marion County or a Hobo Museum in Hancock County. Sometimes that history involves something you can do, like riding the 100-year-old antique, wooden carousel in Story County; or walking across the famous swinging bridge in Louisa County.

Science has also shaped Iowa's counties so some of the stories we’ll uncover are steeped in science, like the white bison in Pottawattamie County and the brick factory in Dallas County. There are adventures to be had in every corner of our state, and we are going to uncover them together on our tour of all 99 counties as we have fun investigating new discoveries in Iowa.
