Days of Yore Museum

The Days of Yore museum is a repository of items and equipment from another era that are on display, drawing attention to the history of the Independence Mental Health Institute, or MHI. The asylum opened its doors in 1873, admitting its first patients, and has cared for the state's mentally ill for the past 150 years.
