Tangy Sugar Snap Peas

A refreshing way to enjoy garden-fresh sugar snap peas.

Ingredients

1 lb. Snap Peas
1/2 lb. bacon- cut into small pieces
1 med. Onion - cut into julienne
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

Trim strings from Snap Peas and Blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes. Brown bacon pieces until near crisp. Remove the bacon from saute pan and set aside. In same saute pan, add onion and snap peas; saute until onions and snap peas are slightly tender Add bacon back into saute pan with peas and onions. Toss to mix and add soy sauce and pepper to taste.Serve and enjoy.
