Caramel Apple Bread Pudding with Brandy Butter

Ingredients

1/2 loaf Texas toast bread, exclude heels, remove crust and cube
8 eggs
1 cup sugar
4 cups milk
1/4 t salt
3/4 cup toasted chopped walnuts
3/4 cup diced peeled apple
3/4 c caramel chips or caramel apple dip
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. brandy
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Place bread cubes in a 9x13 baking dish. In a large bowl, light beat eggs. Add sugar, milk, and a pinch of salt and mix together. Pour custard mixture over bread. In a bowl, add walnuts, apples and barqamel chiups together. Sprinkle over the bread mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour, until center is cooked through.

Meanwhile, beat together butter and sugar. add brandy and vanillla..

Remove bread pudding from the oven. Serve bread pudding with a dollop of the brandy butter. Enjoy!
