Stir Fry Green Beans

Here's a recipe with a fun twist on using green beans.

Ingredients

raw green beans
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup mirin rice wine
(optional) sake wine
1/2 cup sugar
olive oil
chopped garlic
chopped ginger
cornstarch
fermented black beans
sesame seeds for garnish

Directions

Heat up sauce pan. Pour in soy sauce. Add mirin, sake, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolved. Let simmer.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add green beans and cook to get some brown color on them.

Once the green beans have some color, add in chopped ginger and chopped garlic. Let cook a little. Sprinkle in fermented black beans.

Let sauce cool down. Then mix some cornstarch in to thicken.

Add it to pan with green beans. Take off heat and stir. Add water if need to thin out sauce.

Plate with sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
