Rosettes

Heat oil in electric skillet or over heat until oil reaches 350 degrees. While the oil is heating, place the rosette irons in the skillet/pan to heat them.
While the oil and irons are heating, whisk together all of the ingredients.
When oil reaches 350 degrees, remove the iron from oil, dabbing excess oil onto a paper towel. Dip the iron into the batter making sure not to cover entire iron with batter. Place iron back into the oil. With a pair of tongs, gently remove rosette off of the iron once it has browned a little bit. When rosette reaches desired color, flip the rosette to continue browning on the other side. When rosette is done browning, remove it from oil on to paper towels.
Let rosette cool to room temperature. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
