Pannekoeken with Raspberry Sauce
This delicious and sweet raspberry sauce works on almost anything breakfast related: pancakes, crepes, french toast, or pannekoeken
Ingredients
Pannekoeken Directions
Beat eggs and then add 1 cup flour. Mix into a paste. Add 1 cup milk, and a pinch of salt. Heat cast iron skillet to medium-high heat. Melt 1 tablepsoon butter.
With a 1/3 measuring cup, ladle 1/3 cup of mixture into skillet and spread evenely, about 6-8 inches in diameter. Cook like a panckake on both sides, approximately 1-2 minutes on each side. Repeat until you've run out of pannekoeken mixture.
Raspberry Sauce Directions
Bring sauce pant to medium-high heat. Add 1/2cup port and 1/2 cup sugar. Mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5-6 minutes to reduce liquid. Add 1 pint of raspberries. Cook down until heated through and raspberries become a sauce. Add whipped cream to pannekoeken. Roll pannekoeken. Ladle raspberry sauce over pannekoeken. Serve and enjoy!
