State Fair Pizza Margherita
Ingredients
Favorite Pizza Dough Ball
8 oz whole peeled tomatoes
1/3 cup fresh sweet basil
Extra-virgin olive oil
3 ounces fresh mozzarella shredded
salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Place pizza stone in oven. Crush tomatoes and set aside. Stretch pizza dough ball out into an 8 inch diameter. Spread 2oz. of tomatoes over pizza crust. Lightly top with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Splash with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Place on pizza stone and cook 4-5 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
