2014 Terrace Hill Piano Competition

Playing the piano is more than memorizing notes on a page. It's an art. It's coming to know a piece of music, finding its emotional core and communicating that emotion to an audience. Students of the piano spend hours practicing, finessing and fine-tuning their skills, and, once a year, some of the finest high school musicians in Iowa are selected to share their hard-earned talents.
