Iowa PBS Day at the Ballpark With the Cedar Rapids Kernels

Join in on the fun with us at the Cedar Rapids Kernels game on Saturday, July 21, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 1:05 p.m., but Iowa PBS fans are encouraged to arrive early for fun activities for the whole family.

The first 1,000 kids who enter the stadium will receive a free Iowa PBS KIDS canvas bag and a coloring station will be set up for children to customize their bags during the game. Attendees can also meet and take photos with Arthur Read from the popular PBS KIDS program, Arthur. 

The Cedar Rapids Kernels will take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on July 21. The Kernels are a High-Class A Midwest League affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, providing family entertainment from April through September each year. Learn more about the Cedar Rapids Kernels at kernels.com.
