Iowa PBS
6450 Corporate Dr., Johnston, IA

Be among the first to watch PBS KIDS' new program, Carl the Collector, at our special family event! Join us on November 2 at 10:30 a.m., in the Maytag Auditorium to watch this new series. This screening at 10:30 a.m. will be at full capacity. It's the perfect opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the debut of this funny and engaging new series.

At the event, families will grab a snack and drink before heading into the theater to watch two advance episodes on the big screen. After the screening, children will have the opportunity to make their own fidget keychain with the Iowa PBS Education team. Grab-and-go kits will also be available.

Carl the Collector follows the everyday adventures of Carl, a warmhearted autistic raccoon who loves collecting things. His talents — a laser-focus pursuit of his goals, attention to detail, and a distinctive way of looking at and experiencing the world around him — have helped him amass a collection for just about every occasion. Carl’s friends include both neurotypical and neurodiverse characters, each with different traits, behaviors, learning preferences, and challenges. The series brings together a diverse production team of neurodiverse and neurotypical writers, advisors and voice talent.
