Perform on Studio 3 LIVE
Studio 3 LIVE, now in its second season on Iowa PBS, is looking for talented musicians to feature on upcoming episodes.
- Studio 3 LIVE showcases local, regional and national artists performing original sets while sharing their musical journey. Hosted by Mickey Davis, each episode features interview segments woven throughout the episode to learn about each performer, their creative process and what drives them to make their music.
- Studio 3 LIVE is recorded in front of a live studio audience of roughly 55 guests in an intimate, club-like setting. Each set lasts one hour. The interviews are filmed ahead of the performance and take roughly 20-30 minutes. The final edited show is one hour.
- Studio 3 LIVE is distributed on Iowa PBS’s statewide network, reaching all of Iowa and bleeding into the bordering Midwest states. The entire season of Studio 3 LIVE is posted on the Iowa PBS website and is also available on the PBS App, which allows access to a nationwide audience of music lovers. The series is also available as a podcast wherever you listen to your podcasts.
